Artist's Description

A lovely Springtime view of Great Malvern Cemetery with the Malvern Hills in the background.

The most famous person buried in Great Malvern Cemetery is Jenny Lind the Swedish Nightingale. When she died in 1887 a procession of 27 carriages accompanied her coffin to Great Malvern Cemetery.

Jenny Lind’s grave can be found in plot 3 grave number 1264. A sign post points the way.
